PTSD。 戦闘、暴行、天災その他の生命を脅かす出来事による身体的損傷、または重度の精神的もしくは情動的苦痛に反応して発症する不安障害の1つ。がんに罹患している場合にも、PTSDを発症しうる。 症状は毎日の生活の妨げとなり、悪夢やフラッシュバックでその出来事を追体験する；その出来事につながりのある人、場所、ものを避ける；孤独を感じ、日々の活動への関心を失う；集中力欠如および睡眠障害などがみられる。
