鼻腔鏡を用いた鼻の内部の検査。鼻腔鏡は、観察用の光源とレンズが付いた細い管状の器具である。組織を採取するための器具を備えているものもあり、採取された組織は疾患の徴候がないか顕微鏡で検査される。「rhinoscopy（鼻鏡検査）」とも呼ばれる。
